Cabinetry

All our standard cabinets (the frames, not including the doors) are made from either melamine-faced high density MDF or chipboard. Wood veneered cabinets are also available but do cost more. Our standard finish is European oak as this complements the oak dovetailed drawer boxes we use. We can supply cabinetry in any MFC colour or finish.

Everything is made to measure especially for you.

All the cabinets are delivered as rigid a carcass. For ‘in frame’ kitchens the frame and doors are fitted prior to delivery.

The hardwood kitchens have veneered panels and solid wood cornices, pelmets, plinths and frames. Frames for ‘in frame’ kitchens are made in most types of hardwood. The doors are solid wood unless you are having flat paneled doors which are veneered MDF.

Our painted kitchen frames and doors are made from high impact water resistant MDF and are primed in the workshop and hand painted after installation.

All our drawer boxes are made from solid dovetailed oak and are fitted to soft close using ‘Blum’ runners as standard.

In framed kitchen doors are mounted to the frames with traditional butt hinges of various finishes.

Lay on doors are attached to the carcass using ‘Blum’“ soft close hinges.
